Wardrobe Woes
Happy Spring everyone …. Well almost, Spring just a few days away!
If you’re anything like me you’ve already begun on the big Winter to Spring wardrobe swap out and I have to say living where we do, this is the one that brings me the most joy!!
Why, because you’ve guessed it, Winter does seem to be our longest season. As you may recall from the last post, what I do enjoy about having four different seasons is having at least four different wardrobes to accommodate them.
I’m sure it’s not nearly as much fun for those who live in a
temperate climate all year round? My dear friends who live just outside LA
rarely have the wonderful opportunity to experience a winter coat – now where’s
the fun in that?
Or for those who live in very dry areas the slightly spy-like inducing feeling of wearing a trench coat when it rains!?!
Certainly since living in the US my wardrobe has expanded ever further into seasonal distinction. As much as I love and miss my home country the UK’s weather is pretty consistent and pieces easily morph from one season to the next. So having four wardrobes it really is like shopping one’s closet over and over again.
This is just one of the reasons why we have such a choice of robes and dressing gowns for you. Because as the seasons change I want to be able to offer more choice of colours, linings and lengths. Getting hot and huffy in one’s winter robe in March is enough to dampen anyone’s Spring fever.
In case it had slipped your mind these pics show we have the Delphine collections, silk charmeuse, lined with sea island cotton, feather weight and soft, full and knee length depending on where you reside. Should you be traveling or residing in the Southern Hemisphere we do have the Daphne and Persephone collections lined with cotton cashmere – delicious!
Enjoy your Spring and please don’t hesitate to contact me should you require any input on which robe with which lining is right for you or your loved one.
